A: Ticket pricing to the fair and all entertainment is $7 per person. Under 12 is free! Food, drinks, and tickets for carnival rides for the kids are additional and can be purchased at the fair.  Tickets may be purchased at the gate to the fairgrounds on the day of the event.  There are no pre-sales, online sales, and no backstage passes available for any venue.  You are allowed to re-enter the grounds after leaving for the day should you wish to return.  Be sure to get your hand stamped on the way out (stamps are only valid for the day they are issued).

Q: How much are wristbands for the carnival rides?  When will they be sold?  How much are individual tickets for a ride?

A: It is best to call the fair at the number listed on the site for up-to-date information regarding ride tickets. Most rides are 2 tickets and cost $2/ticket.  Tickets can be purchased at the ticket booth at the ride area and are not sold as part of the admissions at the entrance ticket booths.

Q: What are the seating arrangements?

A: Seating is first come, first serve to all of the concerts. Admission does not guarantee a certain place in the park.  Lawn chairs and blankets are allowed for entertainment.  This is an outdoor concert and visitors should prepare for the weather.  Refunds will not be permitted based on weather.  Performances may be canceled due to weather conditions at any time.  For safety reasons, all persons must not stand on the sidewalks to watch performers as this is a hazard and the area needs to remain clear.  You will be asked to move in this scenario.

Q: Is photography allowed?  Can I record the performance?

A: Still photography for non-commercial and personal use is allowed.  Selling of concert photos is strictly prohibited.  Video and audio recording is strictly prohibited.

Q: What time does my favorite performer take stage?

A: Please check the Entertainment Schedule section of our website for up-to-date information.

Q: What time should I arrive before my favorite performer takes stage?

A: For main acts (8PM nightly), plan on arriving at least 3 hours before the performer takes stage. You will be allowed to place your chairs in the seating area and walk around the fair before the performance starts.  We cannot guarantee specific locations to sit on the lawn and you should arrive early as the venue fills quickly.

Q: Will there be a meet-and-greet for performers after the shows?  What about merchandise being sold?

A: It is up to the individual performer to decide whether or not hold a meet-and-greet or sell merchandise.  Meet-and-Greets are determined at the beginning of the show by the performer.

Q: What are the hours of the fair?

A: We’re open from noon until 10PM EST.

Q: Where are the entrances?

A: The main entrance is along Trading Place.  A secondary entrance is along Shipway @ Playfield St.

Q: Can I re-enter the fair after I leave?

A: Yes.  Be sure to get your hand stamped as you are leaving the fairgrounds.  Hand stamps are valid only for that day.

Q: I need directions. How do I get there?

A: Please see the Directions portion of our site.

Q: Where can I park?

A: On-street parking is available free of charge around Heritage Park and the surrounding shopping center and neighborhood. Please be considerate when parking on street as neighbors will need to get in and out. Parking is limited and we encourage the use of carpooling.  Please do not park in any parking lot labeled for JMJ Properties as you may be towed due to shopping center disputes.  A map of parking lots to not park in is below.  Only personnel with vendors passes may park in the vendor lot off of Shipway (see handicap exceptions below).  If you do not have a pass, you are not allowed to park on the grass.

Q: Is there handicapped parking available?

A: Yes!  Please come down to the vendor lot located off of Shipway at the intersection of Shipway and Playfield Street.  All cars parking here must have a valid handicapped plate or sticker.  We cannot guarantee a spot as it can fill quickly.

Q: Where do vendors park and enter the fairgrounds?

A: Please enter the vendor lot located off of Shipway at the intersection of Shipway and Playfield Street.  You must have a vendor pass to park in this lot.  There are no exceptions (i.e. buttons, friends, etc).  Without a vendor pass, you may not park on this lot.  Vendors must enter through the double gate at Playfield Street.  Please do not enter through the ticket area as that is for patrons only.

Q: Can I bring a bike, skateboard, or roller blades to the fair?

A: We are unable to accommodate for these items at this time.  Bikes, roller blades, skates, skateboards, etc. are not allowed in the park.

Q: Are outside food and drinks allowed in the fairgrounds?

A: For safety and security reasons, outside drinks and food are not permitted on the fairgrounds unless for medical reasons. Drinks and food will be sold by vendors (price to be determined by the vendors) throughout the duration of the Dundalk Heritage Fair.

Q: I have a minor. Can I bring him/her into the garden?

A: Under no circumstances may a person under the legal age limit of 21 enter the garden for any reason. This is due to safety concerns. This includes children.  Please make arrangements if you choose to partake in the garden to have your child with an adult outside of the garden.  Alcoholic beverages are not permitted beyond the garden fence.

Q: If the weather is hot, can I wear a bathing suit or take off my shirt?

A: Under no circumstances is this allowed.  We are a family event and shirts and shoes must remain on.  We reserve the right to refuse admission and/or ask you to leave in certain situations.

Q: My pet hamster wants to come to the fair.  Can he come?

A: Sadly, no.  Pets of any kind (unless for medical reasons) are prohibited.

Q: Is the fair safe?

A: Absolutely!  This is a family event and all music is safe for kids.  There will be visible police in uniform patrolling the fairgrounds and plain clothes security personnel.  If you are in need of assistance, please contact security personnel with walkie talkies or a Baltimore County Police Officer and the situation will be addressed accordingly.  We reserve the right to refuse admission and/or ask you to leave in certain situations.
